Целью этогостандарта является обеспечение согласованного процесса предоставления разрешений на терапевтическое использование в различных видах спорта и странах. Международный стандарт по терапевтическому использованию содержит критерии для предоставления разрешения на терапевтическое использование, конфиденциальности информации, формирования комитетов по терапевтическому использованию и процедуры подачи запроса на терапевтическое использование.

international standard for therapeutic use exemptions (ISTUE)
World Anti-Doping Code international standard for therapeutic use exemptions is a mandatory international standard developed as part of the World Anti-Doping Program. The purpose of the ISTUE is to ensure that the process of granting TUEs is harmonized across sports and countries. The ISTUE includes criteria for granting a TUE, confidentiality of information, the formation of therapeutic use exemptions committees and the TUE application process.
